fire...energy...music

I just arrived back on Earth from an incredible high.

It's something I just discovered that fills me with a new energy.

And I'm talking jitters from my purple toenails to my eyelashes.

Somethin' that's been hiding from me--

folk music.

I went to Ryan Shupe and the Rubber Band tonight, and they played mostly Christmas music, but the other stuff that they wrote themselves was incredible! I think it's the fiddle that gets me going...it's fast paced and exciting and so fabulous. I've never been so energized and invigorated by music before! I couldn't hardly even stay still in my seat, I had all this burning energy going through my body and I felt like dancing and running and singing all at the same time.

If there was ever a way I could have a career in performing, I would do it. I've had a few chances to perform, but to make a life of it would be a dream. I love the screaming crowds and that fire that touches everyone involved. It's such a breathtaking atmosphere, to be united by energy.
