Some people see the world in black and white; others see it in shades of gray. I see it in zebra stripes and colors of the rainbow with fascinating stories and ideas, many of which have yet to be written.
I want to focus my training in journalism because writing is as much a part of me as my auburn hair and freckles. I have a vision of myself as a force for good in this wold of unrest and turmoil using my individual voice and written word. I believe I can make a positive impact simply using the blank pages of my notebook and the fast pen I hold--and that is exactly what I will need, a fast pen to keep up with the never-ending ideas in my imagination. Look out; I am ready to take on the world, pen in hand.
