journal vs. blog

Can I just say blogging is going to take some time to get used to? There's something about typing instead of writing...and the fact that people can read what I write and it's not confidential. I have a weakness for journals. I love them, and I have lots and lots of them--both filled and empty. I usually never have a problem filling up the beautiful blank pages of my journal, but an electronic, non-private journal is another thing whatsoever. The creative part of me seems to be hiding behind a wall when it comes to typing my feelings to the Internet emptiness.
